Hello,
I spoke with a representative (via phone) this morning. She indicated that a response to my initial complaint was sent via email to dlundrigan@***.com on January 10, 2025, with no resolution to my case citing that, according to the hotel management, my key card accessed our room at 6:46 pm and 7:02 pm on January 1, 2025.
Moreover, the key card reader indicates the following times that we accessed our room.
1. This is not possible as we have proof we were not in or near our room.
2. The times stated are odd and close together, which would lead us to believe that an unauthorized individual accessed our room six times, scouting out our possessions and opportunity for theft.

We returned to our room at 11:40 pm.
It is without prejudice that I am certain that a copy of our key card was created and thus used to access our room between these times without our consent. We have a photo of the key card log and time-stamped photos we took to prove that we couldn't access our room between these times.
My girlfriend and I were at the lobby bar at 6:30 with friends and then the French A La carte restaurant from 7 pm to 9:30 pm. We made a reservation at the restaurant and they were confirmed, by using our hotel room number 6115 and my first name. We were also accompanied by our friends.
Additionally, prior to the theft, our key cards would intermittently work and not work, forcing us to have six different key cards made. In hindsight, it has made me aware that the multiple 'key card malfunctions' may have contributed to an unauthorized individual accessing our room.
It has also come to my attention, since arriving home, that multiple rooms were broken into the same week.
This hotel and entire destination have major security issues and I expect a prompt resolution to this matter.

First off, the flight was on the tarmac at Toronto for hours before departure, no food or drinks offered. I get to the resort and my requested room for my 2 week bday vacation was 1.
Top floor, 2.king bed, 3. Balcony and 4. Most important the quietest room possible. When I arrived I received a moldy, ground floor, not quiet and 2 beds shoved together.
I am single traveller and pay extra to get the worst rooms and what seems the worst service at the hotel as well. I immediately changed rooms, now I am changing rooms again. I have spent t more time at the concierge and with sunwing reps on multiple days over thi gs like the safe not working, the noise, the unfulfilled requests multiple times a day for water and now I am physically sick from mold air spewing through the ac. I can't not open the doors, it's constant screaming people or kids or music.
I have to carry my valuables around again today because I loose acces to a room while I move again. This is not acceptable customer service. I have been wanting to move resorts and no one is acknowledging my requests or fulfilling their end to get back to me by email. I have called the customer service number and get disconnected each time.
This is the worst travel I have ever experienced nothing had been offered to compensate me in anyway not even a free snorkel or something.
No one is taking responsibility. What can you do about it?
Firstly, I would like an email to confirm that my complaint and request to change resort has been received by the appropriate people to manage this request and so I have a copy of what has been said, please and thanks.

Hello, I just wanted to report some issue I had in Punta Cana airport yesterday Oct 31, 2024, flight number WG 4437 Punta Cana to Toronto. The officer who we gave the suitcases was little bit fishy to me and that is a reason I'm reporting it.
We were a family of 4 had two big suitcases and small Carry on. The weight of the suitcases from Toronto was 24.5 kg for the big ones and 8 kg for carry on (overall 57kg for all three suitcases for 4 of us). We didn't buy anything from Punta Cana and even use most of the shampoo, snacks etc we had. On the departure day we had same amount of weight.
the officer didn't allow and said each suitcase should be 23kg and we have to pay $115. I explained to him that we have only two big suitcases and it's four of us, but he didn't allow. Then he said I can help you and allow to let go if you pay me $100. I told him no that's a lot plus we are allow to have 92 kg but he said no you have to give me some money.
Then said $80, the fishy part is that he told me put the money inside my passport and give it him and then he put it in his pocket secretly and didn't give us any invoices. He didn't take the money for the airline and just put it in his pocket. We were allowed to have 92kg but had 57kg in those two suitcases and a carry on and still got charged $80, it doesn't make sense. The time yesterday was around 12:00-1:30 pm I believe when we gave the suitcases.
The officer was the very last guy on the left side, skinny and had beard they can check the cameras, Unfortunately, I didn't write his name. I just wanted to report him just in case he took the money for himself and not the airline.

My bag didn't get to the airport. I lost all my personal belongings and my car keys.
They said they will compensate with $100 the first day and $50 the days after. At this time, on the second day, I haven't just received my bag and am still waiting desperately to get my bag.

I bought an all-inclusive trip to Cayo Coco from Canada from May 17 to 24. I booked a sunset trip for May 21 and was sold two more trips yesterday by the representative at Tryp Cayo Coco.
However, I was charged in US dollars instead of CAD and was never told about it. I am unable to talk to anyone about it and wasted my time waiting for a rep to arrive at the hotel today. This is unacceptable. I need to cancel my trip sold in US dollars for May 22 and be fully refunded the $502 so that I can proceed with the nexus booking I have for the same day, which is much cheaper.
Please help me with this issue. The phone number you indicated on the website does not work.

Customer service idiots and *** admin fees
My husband and I are part of a group going to Cuba in April 2024. We booked over the phone with a reference number in November.
The agent didnt take any of my contact info at the time and never sent us confirmation email or receipts.
I went to add another passenger to our room in March and they asked for my email. I gave it to them and they finally sent me the travel docs and invoices. They didnt include my middle name on the travel docs and I asked them to add it. They said it would be a $50 fee because its less than 90days to the trip. I explained I never received any docs prior to correct it. And they argued with me that its my job to figure out who the docs were sent to I the group and get it from them. So they sent my travel information, invoices and credit card info to someone else but its my responsibility to get it. And now im being charged $50 fee to correct it.
They also said the rates went down and Ill be getting a $110 refund for each of us. Then proceeded to tell me there is a $100 admin fee to issue the refund per person and Id only be getting $20 of that $220. WTF. How does that make any sense? Will never ever use Sunwing again.
Idiots at customer service and tons of *** fees that make no sense. Spent over an hour on the phone with this lady and she couldnt understand the issue and why I was upset. And wouldnt pass me to a manager.
Never use sunwing.

We have been trying to connect with Sunwing about the experience we had last year, we finally after NUMEROUS attempts were able to talk to a representative via email after our complaint being reviewed for over 3 months... Our reference number is #12567**** Ottawa to Varadero ...
We were told and also at this point now want at least $500 per traveler back , we have been trying to reach someone at Sunwing for weeks now, been calling and get transferred then calls get disconnected, it's been a nightmare and absolutely appalling that the service and response takes this long and impossible to reach someone who can actually help.
In our complaint we mention all the issues plus the fact we had issues travelling with our special needs son.

Flights delays over 9 hours
My husband Darrell Kremer is handicapped, having suffered a stroke a few years ago, a direct flight was a great way to get to our destination.however due to the many delays it caused many many hours (9 hours) waiting, which was very difficult for my husband and myself (Mary Anne Kremer). We are also elderly, close to 70years old, so this added to our concerns of over being tired caused by the flight delays.
We did not choose to fly in the middle of the morning 4:30 am, it was the delay from our original flight of 7:15 pm. It was a very very hard flight to be on.

Hi. My flight is delayed multiple times this evening.
Swg 516 cancun to toronto.
Although the airline knew they delayed till 4:07am they still had us picked up from our resort at 10:30pm.
When we got to the airport, the flight was for the 5th time delayed to 10:20am. they had everyone waiting with no answers. My kids were tired, hungry..uncomfortable..the whole package.
We waited for them to arrange a bus and hotel for the night. That took them till 2:30am.
So when we get to the hotel they are bringing us right back to the airport for our 10:20am flight. Makes no sense!
Seems like the staffs are absolutely clueless about everything when it comes to our flight updates .
I even asked if I can take a taxi back to the resort I stayed at they said they won't accommodate that so I had to stay at the airport all night for them to arrange their hotel. I then asked if they can put me onto another fligjt with a different airline.
They said no they have no ties with other airlines.
I just hope they don't use the usual excuse that the plane had a mechanical problems just to get away from our compensation
Myself along with others on my flight. I think it's safe to say we all felt stranded and as if the airline didn't care
